I wanted to give you a brief update on my office’s response to the corona COVID-19 virus outbreak that is currently affecting our community. My highest priority is the health of you, my patients, and our community. My office is currently open and offering acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine at this time. And I wanted to share some extra precautions I am currently taking:
- I am following the Centers for Disease Control best practices for cleaning and disinfecting between each and every patient.
- I will be waving all fees for short notice cancellation due to illness. If you (or someone close to you) is experiencing symptoms of a respiratory infection (fever, cough, congestion, shortness of breath, or other associated symptoms) STAY HOME!
- If you have experienced respiratory infection symptoms in the past 3 weeks, have traveled recently, or have had contact with someone with a confirmed corona virus infection please contact me to reschedule your visit.
Chinese medicine can be very helpful for boosting the immune system and helping to prevent disease. Additionally, Chinese herbal medicine is very helpful in the treatment of mild symptoms of respiratory infection. In fact, China is increasingly employing herbal medicine in the treatment of COVID-19. If you are ill, contact your primary care provider. And if you would like some herbal support in addition to their care, I will be available for phone or Skype consultation.
